Getting Started With SUP

Looking for a way to get into SUP but not sure where to start? Your best option is going to a beginner’s class, where you can learn the basics of Stand Up Paddleboarding in a safe environment. Here you can work out what your preferred SUP Style is, and the basics of travelling on a SUP. If you’re looking for techniques on how to hold your paddle, or even how best to fall off a paddle board, then these are the best environments to practise.

If you’re based in the UK and looking for a paddling centre where you can focus on your SUP skills, then Go Paddling have created a useful tool for finding a course that’s local to you.

For SUP classes that have been recognised by the BSUPA (British Stand Up Paddle Association), you can find a local class here.

For SUP sets that are perfect for SUP beginners and pros alike, we supply a wide range of Paddle Boards for all SUP Styles.
